A few years ago you paid around 2% or more each time you traded shares.  Then a new breed of stock broker came along and lets you do it for one twentieth of the cost!  I launched Peach Home Loans in 2000 to do the same for home loans! 

I'm an economist and I've spent the last twenty years of my life as an economic reformer advising governments and corporations on how to intensify competition to improve efficiency and lower prices. My other company Lateral Economics, consults to both governments and corporations on economic policy matters.  

We can arrange finance through major lenders, and lots of smaller ones. But even if they call themselves 'independent', no mortgage broker deals with the whole market. So you should consider mortgage brokers as saving you time covering the products they receive commissions on, but there will be products that mortgage brokers don't have access to. 

Hunt around yourself for some of the products mortgage brokers don’t cover to see if you can get a better deal.  We're quietly confident that you will come back.
